77 days is too long - Nancy Sin
this year's singles club reaches its fourth release on 7th August, and non subscribers can pre-order their copies now
Nancy Sin is an indie pop band from San Diego, California. Formed in the spring of 2015 by Joey Bautista (guitar, vocals) and Nick Noble (drums), the two sought to prove that pop music in their hometown didn't always have to come straight from the beach. With "Room for Rent," an energetic blast of jangle pop, and "Again and Again," a pensive slow-burner, the band is doing exactly that. While Nancy Sin often opts to display their fun side through their instrumentation, Bautista offers a cruel, melancholy reminder that what you love won't last forever.
"Again and Again balances lightness with a hook-heavy riff. It's as if in 1990 Ride decided to play a song in the style of Teenage Fanclub's Everything Flows." - Did Not Chart

Smile Like A Lemon Peel review...
those nice chaps at Did Not Chart have reviewed Jeff's 7777777 release, and by golly, they like it!
"When The Cars’ Ric Ocasek produced Guided By Voices, I hoped it would sound something like Jeff Mellin’s Smile Like A Lemon Peel Kiss Like A Papercut does today: power pop beat and bounce, controlled messiness and maybe – and it was a lot to ask – Gary Valentine’s post-Blondie new wave classics. Come on, who wouldn’t want a song that matches up to The First One? "
